After many hours of consideration and discussions and recent events, it is with a saddened and sorry heart that this year Curtis Studio of Dance will have to cancel the First Friday Performance. There are many important reasons that we have come to this decision primarily the safety of our students. But... As always we will have our class Christmas Parties and we invite all families to come and enjoy the fun. You will be able to see your students' perform their dance in a safe and close up environment (with no rain!) and enjoy watching the many special holiday dances and fun that we do in these parties. The Class Parties will be the 17th, 18th and 19th of December in their regular class times as usual.
ATTACHED YOU WILL FIND INFORMATION REGUARDING OUR NUTCRACKER PERFORMANCE. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THE NUTCRACKER PRODUCTION AND THE 2019 ANNUAL JUNE PRODUCTION ARE TWO TOTALLY SEPARATE PERFORMANCES WITH SEPARATE BILLING, SEPARATE COSTUMING, AND SEPARATE RULES. TO BE IN THE NUTCRACKER YOU MUST SIGN UP TO PARTICIPATE. THE JUNE SHOW IS A SCHOOL SHOW WHERE EVERY CLASS PERFORMS.

What a beautiful job our dancers did in our performances at this years recitals. We could not be more proud of the way they handled themselves, danced from the heart and enjoyed doing what they love. We heard so many comments from the audience on how very impressed they were with the dancers and the show. Thank you all for a wonderful memory!
Mr. Bosco will be making a change in his teaching career. He will be devoting all his time to expanding his touring schedule throughout the U.S. Bosco has been a wonderful teacher and friend to our school for many years and we will miss him greatly, however, we are very excited for his new venture! We are also happy to announce that Bosco will hand over the baton to Ms. Stefanie Santiago who will be teaching our hip hop classes next year. We invite all dancers to extend their good wishes to Bosco in his new endeavors.
