Nicole began expressing her love for dance at CSD at age 3 where she trained for 13 years. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2013 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Her performances at SMU included works by Martha Graham, Shen Wei, and Danny Buraczeski. Nicole’s other dance studies have included Idyllwild Arts Academy and San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. Her choreography has been showcased in the “Best Of” Show at SMU. She is a passionate dance teacher who has taught in the California area and abroad. Nicole lived and danced in Melbourne, Australia working for Ausdance Victoria as dancer in residence at the Royal Melbourne and Royal Children’s Hospital. Nicole also taught outreach workshops for Scottish dance company “Curious Seed”. She is a multidisciplinary teacher at CSD and is performing with two professional companies—Donna Sternberg and Dancers and Brockus Red.
